Meet Dr. John Lam
Dr. John Lam was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated from Emory University before attending UCLA School of Dentistry, one of the top…
As your Garland Dental office, we are committed to continuing education, and to keeping our office equipped with advanced dental technology. It’s important to us that our patients have access to efficient and up-to-date treatment options. Whether they’re saving you time, keeping you comfortable, or giving you the smile of your dreams, our state-of-the-art dental technologies will keep you smiling!
You probably know that X-rays are an invaluable tool to dentists and to you. They help dentists detect decay that is not visible with the naked eye, and can even help identify potential problems early on – long before they become costly and painful!
What you may not know is that dental X-rays at Choice Dental Associates have joined the digital age! Gone are the days of biting down on uncomfortable mouthpieces in a dark room, then waiting for bulky and flimsy film to develop! Today’s X-rays are taken with the click of a button, and images of your mouth appear digitally on our computer screens. Our software allows us to instantaneously evaluate digital images of your teeth, and discuss what we see with you in real-time. Come see your Garland dentist to known what you’ve been missing!
You may feel that you know your mouth well. It is, after all, your mouth. But wait until you meet your mouth from the inside out! Using an advanced intraoral camera, we will show you your mouth from an entirely new perspective!
The intraoral camera is a hand-held device that Dr. Lam uses to view hard to see areas in your mouth. The camera is connected to a computer screen, allowing you to see instantly what we see. With the push of a button, we can also take still photos of your teeth from virtually any angle inside your mouth! The procedure is quick and painless, and the live video and saved images collected by the intraoral camera allow us to identify potential problems or concerns, and begin to address them immediately with you.
We’re always looking for new ways to make Garland dental visits more comfortable and convenient for our patients. We know that the difference is in the details, and every detail is important to us! Here are just a few of the amenities that make our office a different kind of dental office:
